The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), Energy Resources Division, will conduct a public hearing regarding the submittal of the 2022-2023 Georgia State Plan and Grant Application for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons as provided for under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (P.L. 94-385).

The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed 2022-2023 Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan for Georgia. The hearing will be held virtually on February 1, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. Interested participants will be able to give public comment by Zoom or call in at:

The hearing is held pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations and Section 440.14 of the Rules and Regulations of the Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons.
