GEFA's project managers are assigned to regions that align with the state's water planning regions.

The Water Resources Division supports the development of water, wastewater, and solid waste infrastructure projects, which help 

protect the environment, facilitate economic development, accommodate population growth, and safeguard public health.

GEFA's water and sewer financing programs provide loans for water, wastewater, sewer, reservoir and water supply, stormwater, water efficiency and conservation, and solid waste infrastructure improvements.
