Georgia Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) Energy Resources Division, will conduct a public hearing regarding the submittal of the 2021-2022 Georgia State Plan and Grant Application for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons as provided for under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (P.L.94-385).

The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed 2021-2022 Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan for Georgia. The hearing will be held virtually on January 25, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. Interested participants will be able to give public comment by Zoom or call in at:

The hearing is held pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations and Section 440.14 of the Rules and Regulations of the Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons.

Written Comments should be submitted to GEFA, Energy Resources Division, 233 Peachtree St NE, Ste 900, Atlanta, GA 30303. Written comments will be received until January 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
