Public Meeting - Additional Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act and the 2019 Clean Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plans
The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will hold a public meeting to present and receive comments on the Intended Use Plans (IUPs) for ASADRA and the revised 2019 Clean Water State Revolving Fund.

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will hold a public meeting on May 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. In accordance with safety precautions regarding the COVID-19 virus and in keeping with the Governor’s Declaration of a Public Health State of Emergency, members of the public who want to participate in the public hearing must do so via conference call. The conference call information is provided below.
GEFA administers the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, which are federal low-interest loan programs that help local governments finance water and wastewater infrastructure projects that protect public health and enhance water quality. In 2020, GEFA will administer financing provided by the Additional Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act (ASADRA). Signed into law in 2019, ASADRA provides low-interest financing for water and wastewater projects in communities impacted by Hurricane Michael.
The purpose of the public meeting is to present and receive comments on the Intended Use Plans (IUPs) for ASADRA and the revised 2019 Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The IUPs outline GEFA’s plans for the programs in the coming 12 months, including the implementation of federal funding allocations. The public meeting will include a presentation of the IUPs and an opportunity for public comment.
