The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will hold a public meeting to present and receive comments on EPD’s updated set-aside scope of work.

The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) and the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will hold a public meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in the GEFA boardroom. GEFA is located at 233 Peachtree St NE, Ste 900, Atlanta, GA 30303-1506.
GEFA administers the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, which is a federal low-interest loan program that helps local governments finance water infrastructure.
The Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of 1996 authorize states to provide funding for certain non-project activities called set-asides. EPD develops and implements the set-asides activities as specified between GEFA and EPD. The purpose of the public meeting is to present and receive comments on EPD’s updated set-aside scope of work.
