The Home Depot recently hosted the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) at a location in the Vinings neighborhood of Atlanta to announce their cross-promotional partnership for Georgia’s Home Energy Rebates.

Georgia’s Home Energy Rebates provides incentives for the purchase and installation of energy efficient upgrades like heat pump water heaters, select ENERY STAR® kitchen appliances, electric wiring, and more. Additionally, qualifying households can save on whole home energy efficient retrofits after having a participating contractor complete a home energy assessment.

The in-store event was complete with remarks from representatives from both organizations and featured a product demonstration from GE. The Home Depot highlighted its ongoing sustainability efforts and introduced several products that are program eligible. GEFA leadership gave an update on the status of the program and provided an overview of the impact across the state.

Georgians should keep an eye out for more information about future opportunities to connect with Georgia’s Home Energy Rebates at their local Home Depot and other locations.
