The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) will conduct a public hearing regarding the submittal of the 2024-2025 Weatherization State Plan Application for the U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons as provided for under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (P.L.94-385).

The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comments on the proposed 2024-2025 Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan for Georgia. The hearing will be held virtually via Zoom and in person at 47 Trinity Ave SW, Fifth Floor, Atlanta, GA 30334 on February 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interested participants will be able to give public comment in person or via Zoom.

The hearing is held pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations and Section 440.14 of the Rules and Regulations of the Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons.

Written comments should be submitted to GEFA, Energy Resources Division, 47 Trinity Ave SW, Fifth Floor, Atlanta, GA 30334. Electronic comments can be submitted to [email protected]. All comments will be received until February 1, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.
