GEFA's financing programs, which enable the protection of Georgia's energy, land, and water resources, impact millions of Georgians daily. In fiscal year 2019, GEFA provided more than $248 million to 55 infrastructure projects in communities across Georgia. 

To date, GEFA has provided more than $4.5 billion in low-interest loans to cities, counties, and infrastructure authorities for more than 1,600 projects that improve water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste systems.
