GEFA staff announcements
GEFA recently welcomed three new staff members to our Water Resources Division.
Dana Eldridge joined the Water Resources Division as a program manager. She comes to us from Jacobs Engineering Group. In her role, she served as the primary project engineer, managed small contracts and oversaw the work of contractors and vendors. Prior to working as an engineer, Eldridge was a mathematics instructor at Rockdale County Public Schools and Georgia Perimeter College. She received a master’s degree in construction management from Texas A&M University, a master’s degree in teaching from Harding University, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Mississippi.
Ryan Williams is the new director of the Water Resources Division. Prior to joining GEFA, he served as the local government liaison in the Office of the Governor. Williams responsibilities included handling all matters related to local elected officials and their communities, conduced policy research, and advised the governor and members of the administration on policy issues and legislation. Williams graduated from the University of Georgia with two bachelor’s degrees in political science and international affairs.
GEFA welcomed back Tracy Williams as a program manager in the Water Resources Division. She previously worked at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources where she was a contract administrator for the Engineering and Construction Unit. Williams evaluated design and professional service proposals, attended bid meetings, coordinated with the finance department during projects, and monitored contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws.
Jason Bodwell, a senior program manager, for the Water Resources Division accepted a position with CH2M. In 2014, GEFA’s Water Resources Division was the recipient of a national award from the American Council of Engineering Companies for its Water Loss Technical Assistance Program. On behalf of GEFA, Bodwell accepted the award.
Andrew Morris, a senior program manager, for the Water Resources Division was responsible for the Governor’s Water Supply Program. He was also responsible for GEFA’s revolving loan programs for drinking water, water quality, stormwater, green infrastructure, water conservation and solid water infrastructure. Morris has taken a job as a senior principal planner for the Metro North Georgia Water Planning District.
Michael Roberts started his own engineering consulting firm, Community Consultants LLC. He will provide a range of services in water, wastewater, stormwater and land conservation fields. For the past four years, Roberts was a program manager for the Water Resources Division.
