Clean Water State Revolving Fund

The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) is a federally-funded loan program for wastewater infrastructure and pollution prevention projects.

Eligible CWSRF projects include:

  • Water quality, water conservation, and wastewater treatment projects, such as constructing new wastewater treatment plants
  • Repairing and replacing sewer lines and stormwater control projects
  • Implementing water conservation projects and programs
  • Nonpoint source pollution control projects

GEFA also offers low-interest loans for energy-efficiency and renewable energy projects at wastewater treatment facilities.
