Public Meeting: Weatherization Assistance Program 2018-2019 State Plan Submittal
The Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), Energy Resources Division, will conduct a public meeting regarding the submittal of the 2018-2019 Georgia State Plan and Grant Application for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons as provided for under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (P.L. 94-385).
The purpose of the meeting is to accept public comment on the proposed 2018-2019 Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan for Georgia. DOE has instructed GEFA to use the funding allocations in Weatherization Program Notice 16-2a for planning purposes until the final FY2018 budget is passed and signed by the president. Therefore, the budget numbers in the state plan are subject to change depending on final allocations.
The meeting will be held February 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the GEFA lobby conference room at 233 Peachtree St NE, Ste 900, Atlanta, GA 30303.
The meeting is being held pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations and Section 440.14 of the Rules and Regulations of the Weatherization Assistance Program for Low-Income Persons.
Written comments should be submitted to the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, Energy Resources Division, 233 Peachtree St NE, Ste 900, Atlanta, GA 30303. Written comments will be received until February 6, 2018, at 4:00 p.m.
