Travis Turner, chairman of the White County board of commissioners, has been elected vice chairman of the GEFA board of directors effective January 1, 2017. He succeeds former Murray County Sole Commissioner Brittany Pittman.

Russ Pennington has been named deputy director at GEFA. Pennington will also lead the Governor’s Water Supply Program, working closely with Judson H. Turner, the state’s Environmental Protection Division (EPD) director in the new office established by Gov. Nathan Deal for interagency coordination and management of water resources.
Boyd Austin, mayor of Dallas, Ga., has been elected chairman of the GEFA board of directors effective January 1, 2015. He succeeds Dahlonega Mayor Gary McCullough.
Linda MacGregor has been selected as Water Resources Division director, effective Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Since May 2013, MacGregor has served as a senior program manager at GEFA where she’s coordinated a range of water resource projects and assisted with implementing Governor’s Water Supply Program projects.
Georgia Environmental Finance Authority Executive Director Kevin Clark announced that Linda MacGregor has joined the Water Resources Division as a senior program manager. MacGregor will be responsible for implementing projects under the Governor’s Water Supply Program.

Dahlonega Mayor Gary McCullough has been elected chairman of the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) board of directors. McCullough was elected chairman by the GEFA board on November 8, 2012, during its quarterly meeting.
Executive Director Kevin Clark announced today that that Matt Harper has been selected as water supply senior program manager.
